HP 27f monitor VESA adapter

I picked up an HP 27f monitor because I was sick of the low res screen on my company laptop and I wanted to get some real work done while in a hotel room for a week. When I take it home I want to mount it to a VESA mount arm. The choices for cheap monitors at Best Buy with VESA mounting did not exist. I looked for an adapter to purchase but couldn't find one for this model. This should fit flush to the back of the monitor effectively locking out the tilt function of the stock mount. If you want it to tilt after mounting that function needs to be built into your mounting arm. I could make a version that allows vertical tilt but I'd be concerned about the reliability of the part from fatigue and having a longer lever arm extending from the adapter. I've actually reduced the tolerances from my prototype versions. You may need to shim the back side of the monitor a little bit; I used a couple layers of black electrical tape. Bolt the adapter to the VESA mount using M4 bolts, washers, and nuts. I put holes for 75mm and 100mm VESA patterns. I'd suggest the 100 mm pattern but either (or both) should work. I absolutely in the strongest terms can NOT recommend using this adapter in any setting where the screen would be suspended above people. This monitor model does not have provisions for a safety cable if the mount arm or adapter should fail. I have faith in the part if it's printed on a well dialed in machine with appropriate settings; I'll be using two of them printed in eSun PLA Pro on my personal desk. But it is not appropriate to use this part in any circumstance where failure might endanger some one's safety.
