https://youtu.be/P4YJBCraq5k This HPL (hand powered light) uses a cheap AliExpress geared DC motor. It supplies enough energy for a 100 mA led (white, 10mm). The basic circuit has a resistor and led, that's all you need to make light. A 1000uF capacitor can be added to stabilize the light flow. The diode prevents dischargeing through the motor. Depending on left or right handed use: No light? Reverse the motor wires. In case you want to make it independent of the rotation direction, a bridge rectifier can be added. It all fits in a handy housing that is closed bij a lid. The grip rotates around an M4 bolt.
