HRD Vincent Rapide Series A Crankcases modelled in SolidWorks by Jonny at North Design Works Ltd. These are renderings of this iconic engine dubbed the “Plumber’s nightmare” due to its lack of internal oilways – there’s only 1 oilway core on this bottom end! This engine is from the ultimate vintage motorcycle (of which only 79 were ever made. Famous current owners include Jay Leno.) Jonny at North Design Works recently had the pleasure of modelling these in SolidWorks for a private client from the original Drawing of 18-3-1936 by Phil Irving of The Vincent HRD Co. Ltd. Stevenage - We are currently in process of programming into DelCAM for CNC machining blank castings in conjunction with Victor at Whiskin Precision Engineering Ltd.
