HSTS21 Current Sensor

The HSTS21 is a split core current sensor based on the Hall Effect principle. AC or DC current passing through a clamped wire induces a magnetic field that is sensed and outputed as a voltage in the range for this device of +/-4V DC. Here is my 3D model of the HSTS21.

If you're like me, it doesn't matter how much care you take, it's still possible to miss details in the 3D design. Typical missed details that will lead you into problems include:

Parts encroaching on others.

Hole spacings misaligned.

A 3D model of each component incorporated into your design helps avoid some of the design pitfalls.

I've included the Fusion 360 CAD file to assist people to incorporate the model into their designs.

I hope you can find this design useful, too.

Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.

Print instructions

My print is made in PETG 1.75mm Aurarum neutral filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
