I use my 8X for photography as it's better than my old digital camera... but I can never hold my hands still enough and always blur the shots. Being a windows phone there is almost zero accessories! And being a maker with a 3D printer... I remedied that with this camera mount. Instructions Will need support. I printed with the flat back down on an UP mini in white ABS. Keep in mind that the soda blasted polycarbonate of the 8X might start to wear after a while on the sliding faces... it's the price you pay for that sort of finish and probably why there's so few accessories for this phone. Once printed, just carefully tap the tripod mounting screw into the plastic. I had no issues but you might need to reinforce this area with a quick acetone dip if you encounter layer splitting.
