HTC Vive Base Station Battery Bracket

HTC Vive Base Station Battery Bracket

thingiverse

A simple bracket which holds a battery to power an HTC Vive v1.0 base station. This allows you to set up your base stations in a place where power is either inaccessible, or where the power cord may be considered to be less than aesthetic. The battery I am using for this is a [12V 6000mAh battery from TalentCell](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ME3ZH7C?th=1). It came with a cable with 5.5mm ends on it which I am using to connect to the base station. The plug clamp in the design is designed to hold this cable, and uses two 20mm M3 cap head screws along with two captured M3 hex nuts to hold it all together. The battery should be able to run the base station for about 12 hrs on a full charge. Simply charge the battery and slide it into place in the bracket when it is time to use. Fusion 360 files are provided as well in case you need to make any tweaks.
