This is the lens mod that I made to get away from the Fresnel lenses. WARNING these will void your warranty. FOV does drop a little. But no more light bleed from the rings of the Fresnel lenses. Mostly gotten from dark games like Elite Dangerous and others. You just simply pop your old lenses out and pop these in. A guy by the name Johnny Deathhawk on youtube shows how to take it apart. Here's the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn_GAZlrGQ8 I made it so the lenses press fit in. If lenses are loss or wont fit just adjust your flow rate till it fits tight enough to not fall out. I am also willing to sell these to people without printers just message me. And on another note with this mod you cannot wear glasses. You must bring the Vive close to your face to obtain a usable FOV. This is do to the smaller diameter lenses used in this mod. I now have three pics up starting with stock. Then lens mod and then lens mod a bit farther away to show that there is a very slight distortion on the absolute rim of the lens. And you can see the mod is much sharper as well. UPDATE 1/30/17 The seller of the lens changed them so for now this project is on hold till I find lenses that work now........
