HTC Vive sniper rifle controller for "The Nest"

This is a Vive controller sniper rifle specifically designed for the game "The Nest". This model matches up with the basic design for the in game sniper rifle and allows you to hold a physical weapon in your hands increasing immersion and accuracy. It includes an attachment point at the front which will allow for additional parts to be added such as a front stock. But from playing the game it doesn't seem to need anymore added, but I will keep experimenting and update if needed. I have included the Sketchup file so people can customize the design or add bits if they so wish. UPDATE 26/06/2016 - 17:52 Have modified the tolerances so the parts fir together better. Made the holes slightly larger to prevent any splitting when bolted together Made some cosmetic changes and reduced the amount of plastic required to print. Uploaded second version of the fore stock. Uses much less plastic now, first version was very chunky. Print Settings Printer: XYZ Da Vinci 1.0 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3mm Layer Height Infill: 25% Notes: Print part 4 with higher infill (40-50%) as this part is thinner and takes the weight of the controller. Post-Printing Assembly Bolt together using m4.5 x 30mm bolts. I also added some foam to the stock to make it more comfortable holding it into your shoulder.
