HTC Vive Wireless Fan and Battery Bracket

*EDIT - Confirmed it will work with the battery add-on. I just had to flip the brackets when sliding them in so that it would clear the "vive" button and whatnot.* *2nd EDIT - I did a little benchmarking (via the wireless output logs) and found that this decreased my temperature by around 25 deg C (from 89 peak to around 65). This is a remix of the battery bracket by user dc5ezs. I'd recommend checking out the original source for instructions if you want to use the battery bracket functionality (I haven't tried that). I installed this mod to alleviate overheating issues I was having with wireless add-on with my vive pro. After around 1-2 hours of playtime, I would frequently get gray screens which resulted in a loss of communications with steam vr which required me to disconnect and reconnect the battery and restarting steamvr (I would also lose my mic in onward). Since installing this mod, I've played around 6 hours and had no issues. As suggested by dc5ezs, I put a couple strips of electrical tape under the "horn" part of the bracket to prevent scratching near the area you need to use zip ties. The anchor clips onto the bottom of the module after placing the bracket on the top of the unit. I used a $6 USB powered 40mm fan found here on amazon --> http://a.co/d/0GUtVBm The pilot holes are intended for the screws that come with that fan, although I did use a couple of longer (3/4", #6) screws on the upper part by the horns. The holes are sized for 32mm spacing between each mount. I glued the 40mm fan cover (file can be found here --> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:649020#).
