HTPC - pfSense mini-ITX case, less supports remix

<p>Remixed from the already excellent design by vl4dt3p3s, <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3995301">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3995301</a></p> <p>My alterations:</p> <ul> <li>Added chamfers to vent slots to reduce required supports. Makes it for uniform looking to me :)</li> <li>Added M3 sized holes at the bottom of the brass insert slots, in case you have screws that are slightly too long (like me)</li> <li>Made the tabs for the lid slightly larger</li> <li>Made the part about the motherboard IO shield slightly thicker</li> <li>Redid the inlay so that it and the inlay groove in the case can be printed without supports</li> <li>Some other small changes that I probably forgot</li> </ul> <p>Things I want to add, but haven't yet:</p> <ul> <li>Add hole in lid for a fan</li> </ul> <p>You should be able to follow the instructions in vl4dt3p3s design. Although you can now use slightly longer M3 screws if you don't have the proper sized ones.</p> <p>It does take a long time to print!</p> <p>Printed mine with a .8mm nozzle with a layer height of .28mm and it still took about 24 hours to print.</p> <p>Supports are required, unless you REALLY have large bridges dialled in.</p> <p>Did reduce the amount of top and bottom layers to 3, you could probably go down to 2 if you wanted to save on plastic, with the risk of having issues when inserting the M3 brass inserts (they might melt right through!)</p> <p>I have included the source Fusion360 file if anyone else wants to remix this further!</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Creality CR-6SE</p> <p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>Doesn't Matter</p></div> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.28</p></div> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>10%</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong></p> Generic PETG <p>Any</p> </p></p> Category: Electronics
