This Thing is to repair a Hubbell Cord Reel (HBLC40123TT) that will not retract. These are very expensive cord reels and they should hold up much better than they do. A couple of searches showed I was not the only person to have a problem with this particular manufacturer. See the attached PDF file for complete instructions. In my case it was actually a pretty simple fix. I hope this helps someone keep a cord reel out of the landfill and save some money. Chuck
