This is a prototype of a head mount for a HUD that uses a locking gear and spring to rotate into and out of position. Instructions The rotating portion will require a 1/8" diameter bolt and a small compression spring to push the gears together. Leave just enough give to clear the pegs from the sockets. More parts will be needed to allow for vertical and horizontal adjustment.
