This is a one-pound (or antweight) fighting robot modeled after the Battlebots competitor "HUGE" in the 2018 Battlebots season. It is designed to be printed on a Markforged Onyx One / Onyx Pro / etc. printer, and all the parts should fit on the bed (individually, not together). Virtually all the parts in this are available off the shelf; however, the weapon bar will need to be manufactured in your method of choice (I recommend a waterjet shop). Additional parts needed: .375" hollow shafting with .65" wall thickness [weapon shaft] (McMaster part https://www.mcmaster.com/89955k449) .375" ball bearings (x3, weapon hub bearings): (McMaster part 60355K45 https://www.mcmaster.com/60355k45) .375" bore thrust bearing (McMaster part https://www.mcmaster.com/7488k12) 7/16"-long 6-32 flat-head screws [screws for Servocity hubs] (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/91253a147) 3/8"-long 2-56 flat-head screws [screws for Silver Sparks] (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/91253a079) 3/16"-long 4-40 button-head screws [top plate fasteners] (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/91255a105) 3/8"-long 4-40 flat-head screws [leg fasteners] (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/91253a108) Shoulder bolt with 1/8" diameter and 3/8" long shoulder [hub bolts] (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/91259a156) 10mm long M3 flat-head screws [motor screws] (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/91294a130) 4-40 brass heat-set inserts (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/93365a120) 4-40 narrow hex nuts (McMaster part: https://www.mcmaster.com/90760a005) .375" clamping hubs (ServoCity part 545596 : https://www.servocity.com/770-clamping-hubs) ServoCity Lightweight Set-Screw Hubs: https://www.servocity.com/lightweight-set-screw-hub-3mm-bore?fbclid=IwAR3MzntAs52uD9sbMh_sXN4Ag-GzF58c6y_kcZmIrksjrIShQ07vyP9U4Pw Fingertech 33:1 Silver Spark gearmotors: https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-Sspark16 Fingertech Mini Power Switch: https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-mini-switch Fingertech TinyESC (x2): https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=ft-tinyESCv2 {Alternative to TinyESC} This will also work with an Endbots DESC unit, however wiring will be harder. I recommend waterjet or plasma cutter. Doing this by hand will suck a lot.] (https://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=titanium) This was designed for the Endbots 3d-printable combat robotics contest in October of 2018! If you want to see the other entrants, and maybe enter yourself (contests happen monthly!), check this link: http://forum.endbots.com/thread/41/endbots-design-contest-october-2018 The approximate cost for this is: FrSky XMR Receiver x2: 11.99 each Fingertech TinyESC x2: 26.25 each Fingertech Mini Power Switch: 7.67 each Fingertech 22-tooth Pulley: 5.15 each Fingertech Silver Spark 33:1 x2: 18.19 each DYS 20a brushless ESC: 11.67 each ServoCity lightweight hubs (x2): 6.99 each ServoCity clamping hubs (x2): 5.99 each Turnigy 2205/34 1500kv motor: 14.47 each ThunderPowerRC 325mah 2S battery x2: 12.99 each McMaster hollow shafting: 7.66 for 12" section McMaster 3/8" ID ball bearings (x3): 6.48 each McMaster 3/8" thrust bearings (x2): 3.79 each McMaster heat-set inserts: 10.31 per pack of 100 3mm titanium plate: 37.75 Assuming you have (or have access to) small quantities of screws, this comes to approximately 290 dollars of hardware plus printing costs and waterjet costs. I recommend piggybacking on someone else's waterjet order or cutting several blades to keep costs per blade reasonable. Consider Big Blue Saw (bigbluesaw.com)! I strongly recommend trying to find somewhere local to yuou that will sell you high-strength screws of the appropriate sizes in small quantities (join your local makerspace!); however, if you are planning on this being the first of several robots, the McMaster screw quantities will make sense - virtually all of the screws listed in the BOM come in quantities of 100 at minimum (which is why they're all about 15 bucks a pack).
