As I continue to compare and contrast Pix4D vs. Agisoft, I modeled the hula girl pinata that hangs out next to the plastic owl at the office. Considering all of her whispy tissue paper, I don’t think the model turned out too bad. So far, Agisoft is much easier to use than Pix4D. I can upload the images (shot as raw and converted to .DNG) into Agisoft and process them with no trouble. With Pix4D, I converted the images to .TIF and had to manually input the camera parameters to get it to complete the initial image processing.
