“The burgers are better at Hungry Jack’s” This building is a replica of the Hungry Jack’s fast food outlet planned on Bargara Road, Bundaberg intended for Cities Sklyines. Hungry Jack’s is an Australian fast food franchise of Burger King founded by Jack Cowin in 1971. The retail owns and operates all of the Burger King/Hungry Jack’s restaurants in Australia. When Burger King expanded into Australia an Adelaide restaurant was already called Burger King. Unable to use the US name Jack Cowin decided to name his fast food chain Hungry Jack’s instead. The brand now has more than 420 restaurants serving every major population centre in the country.
