I remixed a few of the parts in the hypercube kit to adapt it to the parts i had on hand -XY Joiner uses a pair of LM8UU bearings to reduce play on the Y axis rod, the rods i have are ~7.91mm instead of true 8mm, so the bearings have a bit of slop in them, the dual bearings tighten it up significantly. also adapted to use 8mm rod on the X axis -idler adapter to 4mm and 5mm idler bearings ( i am using idlers with GT2 teeth) which i happened to have on hand -z leadscrew holder adapted to use normal 608zz instead of flange bearings added 30/9/2016 -beefed up z nut clamp, the one I printed kept snapping when I bolted down the Z nut holder on the side of the z carriage -also designed this brace to convert the printer into a heated enclosure in addition to adding bracing. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1799079 added 3/10/2016 -upgraded print fan duct that will blow from the left side -upgraded print fan duct that blows from 3 sides, with integrated z probe induction sensor mount, also added a v2 version that 4 mm wider duct to allow some clone hotends to fit added 20/10/2016 -added PSU holder to suit DPS-1200FB power supply (overkill i know but had them on hand) -added bed holders with more bracing and slots to allow use of t-slot nuts as a captive nut to make it easier to adjust the bed -I used this as the z axis coupler http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:396781 -added bearing holder for z axis to suit the new tech2c v1.1 motor mount. its necessary to use this if you arent using an integrated leadscrew in your stepper motor otherwise you are likely to get z wobble like I did when not using a bearing support on the top of the z axis. added 29/10/2016 -added new Z axis carriage, the original hypercube ones do not have enough bracing in them to support the cantilevered bed design. I've remixed a drop in replacement that should be a lot stiffer, needs to be printed with the LM8UU slots down with supports. added 3/11/2016 -added new V2 of the Z axis carriage that will stop any bed rotation around the Y axis. added 8/11/2016 -added new V3 of duct with sensor, increased clearance and changed angle of ducts to work better with clone and real E3D variants.
