Hydraulic Power Steering System

This was the final project for my program. The rendering is slightly updated from the latest model uploaded due to design changes. Overall, the project was an interesting experience (concepts and benchmarking, DV-P&R, D-FMEA, calculations for major system components, as well as FEA). Ultimately the goal was to design and engineer a power steering system that fit several design and technical requirements. Overall dimensions were exaggerated and assumed (supposed) to fit a WRC-spec car. Almost all of the modeling is my own (I modeled a few of the many components using similar models found elsewhere, but the rest was from scratch). No calculations were done for the rack teeth or pinion teeth due to time constraints, but the version in the rendering had the gear ratio set and was able to animate in the assembly (modified Toolbox components).
