This is an indoor hydroponic grow system that hangs on a string. It can be put in a window or anywhere with a good light source. Besides the printed parts the system requires a water tank, a pump, a timer, a light source, some hoses, grow medium, patience, hydroponic nutrients, water, seeds, a string and did I say patience? There a two different planter to choose from. One s a fully printed planter (130x130mm) and the other is a cap for a cut-of top of a plastic bottle. Both works the same. The pump fills water in the top planter and the water follows the string down into the next and at the bottom there is a funnel with a hose that leads the water back to the tank. Fill each planter with expanded clay (leca) and put one layer of ordinary TP on top. spread out the seeds and add one more layer of TP. The paper will ensure all the seeds get wet and prevent them from being flushed away by the water. Thread all the planters onto a string and push a sharpened piece of filament through the string to set the height of each planter. Attach the feed hose to the string at the top with the flow regulator device. One M3 screw is needed to adjust the flow and it will make its own threads in the plastic. Just screw it in. Add the funnel at the bottom and make a simple knot at the end to keep it in place. Add a garden hose to lead the water back to the tank. Set the timers for water and light and watch the seeds grow. I water for 5 miutes two times a day. Mix some hydroponic nutrients in the water.
