UPDATE: In version 0v1, I focused on enhancing the height and improving the symmetry while also refining the base. Enjoy! I was inspired to add a base to George Hart's 3D sculpture hyperboloid (http://www.thingiverse.com/image:40818), but I faced some rendering issues in OpenSCAD. Thus, I came up with this alternative design. It shares similarities with MakeALot's sculpture (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6917). As expected with my projects, the curves are precise, but the resulting STL file is quite large and SkeinForge takes a considerable amount of time to process it. For instance, the S3G file size reached 12,422,559 bytes, which might be excessive. However, I've provided the OpenSCAD file for you to customize according to your preferences!
