I received the kit as a gift from my family in the 2018 holiday season so I decided to utilize the kit as a learning project to build a 3d printer with a core XY kinematic motion system. Taking on my learning project with the help of this kit has not only allowed me to expand upon & test my knowledge base of mechatronics principles. This experience has also allowed to delve into more advanced concepts of complex integrated systems as I am now utilizing the build as base platform to research & develop new concepts for 3d printers! This kit is in fact actually a fantastic educational opportunity in disguise for anyone as it requires an understanding (or the learning) of multiple subjects in order to be able to achieve the completion of this DIY build!
