Hypercube Evo Mechanical Z End Stop

Hypercube Evo Mechanical Z End Stop

thingiverse

This is a Mechanical End Stop for a 3030 Aluminium Frame originally designed for my Hypercube Evo. Having had continual homing errors with my Optical Z Endstop, probably either due to rubbish optical end stops or possibly cross talk from various connections or poor quality wiring. I decided to resort back to a mechanical end stop with a good old M3 bolt for easy, accurate Z homing and plenty of vertical height adjustment for easy swap of height related parts like Volcano nozzles. Since changing, my Z Homing is so much more reliable than previous configurations. You will need 2 x M3 nylocs and a M3 bolt, length to suit the height adjustment required. The end stop used was a stock end stop used on the Creality Ender 3\5 and CR10. I have uploaded several adjustment brackets which allow different height variations. Suggest printing in the uploaded configuration. The end stop holder requires a small amount of support to the extrusion retention tabs. Printed with Amazon Basics Red PETG with 30% infill & 3 perimeters on a Ender 3 Pro.
