I was able to get some linear rails for free, but they turned out to be 20mm profile rails. And seeing how all the available things on here was based on 15mm and the like, I needed some 3d models that would work with my custom printer that was based on a HyperCube at one point in it's life. The design for this was to take into account my plexiglass sides, but the main issue with going from linear rods to linear rails (especially 20mm profile) was the amount of printing space lost. I am kind of hoping someone on here is able to improve my design and build from it. Being a programmer I have a thing for OpenSCAD, so all the models on here was designed from it. To also be modular. The XYJoiner was replicated from the HyperCube's XYJoiner. Very time consuming but I was able to replicate the upper portion of it, and add it to a mount that work for my 20mm profile rail guides. A note with this, if going down to 10mm or a 15mm guide, there is a chance the holes will not be accessible. I didn't design this for all the "what-if" situations. The included XYIdler is not tested, I originally used a spacer (included) to space out the HyperCube's XYIdler. But being I was unable to tighten the belt I went with a different design. The current design is remixed off of a friend's design, so I can't upload it at the moment without permission. The rail carriage is simple, it only gives a Prusa i3 mounting setup, with a simple way to attach the belts. For the XY Motor mounts, this was also replicated from the HyperCube version. I have only included the right version, Just flip in your slicer to get the left version.
