Hypersonic Grid Fin - SpaceX Falcon 9 - 608 Bearing Edit (Flap and Pitch)

I've been on the hunt for the perfect hypersonic grid fin model, and [t4obrien](https://www.thingiverse.com/t4obrien/designs) has done it. I wanted to modify t4obrien's original model to allow the embedding of 608 bearings for flap and pitch motions. After reaching out to t4obrien, he provided me with a detailed model that I could manipulate in Fusion360. I created the “base” to allow for pitch rotation of the grid fin, and then I created a “mount” to allow for the flap hinge. Painting involved a grey primer coat for the parts, then silver metallic for the grid fin, and flat white for the base and mount. The bearings are press-fit, and the piece was assembled. To add additional realism, I ‘weathered’ the underside of the gridfin and mounts with some carbon-black spray paint to simulate a post-flight condition. To complete this project you will need: - 3 x 608 bearings ([Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=608+bearings)) - 2 x M3x12 Socket Cap Screws ([Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=m3x12+socket+head)) - (Optional) 6 x M3x8 Flat Head Screws ([Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=m3x8+flat+head))
