I-beam for shelving or what-have-you

I build a shelf using 8 of these bolted together and then screwed to boards. The height can be varied depending on how many you use. I wanted to start creating stuff like this to begin making significantly larger objects. I'm fairly pleased with the shelf. I will probably make a beefed up version for an even sturdier shelf. Instructions Print I-beams. Bolt together and use wood screws to attach to wood. You could also drill through the wood and use one bolt to mount two I-beams on both sides of the wood. I used a drill press to set holes for the wood screws.
