This is for setups with 2 8mm rods that are 45 mm on center. There are hex slots inside the base of the 8mm holes so that you can insert a nut and screw. If the hex holes print slightly small, use a longer m3 screw and put it through the hole. Then use a lighter to heat the nut and pull on the long screw to set the nut into its hole. This tension system is better than the original setup because it does not rely on the slip fit of the vertical printer parts for belt tension. It pushes directly on the ends of the rods to tension the belt leaving the slip fit unstressed. Also it places the pully in a better location and keeps the same tension throughout its entire travel. This design utilizes GT2 bearing pulleys I found on amazon here.https://www.amazon.com/Anycubic-Aluminum-Timing-Bearing-Printers/dp/B01BTTERC2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482793738&sr=8-1&keywords=gt2+bearing+pulley hardware needed: 1 X GT2 Bearing Pulley 1 X m5x25mm screw 1 X m5locking nut 2 X m3x10mm screws 2 X m3 nuts I printed this in ABS solid at .2mm/layer please post your makes
