Firstly having always loved bikes and worked on them I just had to enter this challenge....and an interesting one it was. The slides above show the thinking behind this idea in detail, but I'll summarise it here. The rotation stopper fixes to existing bolt holes on the motor, so no need for extra holes and a change in design. It then connects to the frame via the back wheel quick release spindle. The quick release spindle is then tighten as normal ( as if securing the wheel in place) this clamps the rotation stopper to the frame and allows no unwanted rotation to occur. This design also stops any sideways rotation cause by the toque from the motor. The design is robust, unique, lightweight and and only 1 single part making it not only cost effective, but also meaning there are no parts to work themselves loose! Included in the uploads is a press tool, which could be used to manufacture the parts, and demonstrates how they could be mass produced.
