Ice Auger Blade Sleeve

The blade guard to my buddy's ice auger was held on with a bungee cord and was cracked in multiple places, so I thought: I could do this way better and easier. Therefore, I designed a protective blade sleeve for the ice auger blades. They work by just sliding them over the blade and the fit is snug enough that they stay on till they are slipped back off. I would imagine this would be universal for all hand ice augers but as I've only tested it on one, I am not sure. Either way, the design is simple enough and should be scalable. I printed one sleeve for each blade. There was no inverting necessary for the second blade sleeve as they both end up facing the same direction. I printed it so that the opening was facing up and the big flat side was on the bed. I added tree supports to assist with the lips. Please let me know if you have any questions.
