Ice Cream Shaped Mini Container

This is a 2-piece model of ice cream with a cone. The cone is hollow to allow for users to utilize it as a small container, while the ice cream itself acts as a multi-colour customizable lid. 1) This model was created to be customized using Canvas. The ice cream itself and the rolled wafer can be different colours as desired while the sprinkles can be all one uniform colour or various colours using Canvas’s paint tool. To paint the sprinkles, the STL file in the ‘Objects’ viewer must be selected, followed by the paint brush icon in the bottom left corner. 2) For minimized bleeding of darker colours (such as red, green, blue, purple and brown) into lighter colours, it is recommended that users set the variable transition lengths to strong and increase the “maximum transition length” (Project Settings>Transition>Variable Transition Lengths). 3) This model was created to act as a container. The cone is hollow to allow for storage of small items. Thus, it must be printed separately in one colour. The ice cream itself acts as the lid and has more ability to be customized. The wafered roll can be added or removed to the print as desired. 4) Custom supports are needed for this model at the base to allow the first section of ice cream that hangs over the cylindrical base to print smoothly (Project Settings>Supports>Custom>Configure Custom Supports). Use the facet or sphere support tools in the top left corner to draw the areas where supports are needed. To minimize difficulty in removing supports, choose low density supports (Project Settings>Supports>Support Density>Low). Opting for a filament colour for the supports that matches that area of the ice cream can also help reduce the appearance of marks left by supports. 5) Print Difficulty: 3/5
