Ice cup mould - it makes a cup made of ice

This is a mould to make an ice cup. Great for drinking beer from on hot days or for kids to drink cordial from then eat. Try making it from other liquids. I haven't tried. It clips into a 500ml disposable plastic cup. Fill it with water and put it in the freezer and make an ice cup. Using chilled drinks the cup will last longer but if you only have warm beer, its a great way to chill it quickly. Capacity of the cup is around 200ml...approximately 2 pours of a regular 375ml drink can. My first one lasted 2 beers before it sprang a leak (including time taken in getting these photos). Read instructions for more details Inspired by this product I found online http://nicemug.com/ Not my original idea. Instructions It clips onto a 500ml disposable plastic cup. Print this with 100% fill and minimum 0.24mm layers. It must be watertight or you won't be able to remove the plug. You don't want water inside the mould or it won't release easily. When printed, it sticks tight to the build plate using PLA due to large surface area.. Just grab an edge with multigrips and pull up to remove. Put a wetsuit material stubby/can holder on the cup in the freezer, it will freeze from top down making a strong clear cup that lasts up to 30 minutes. Remove from freezer and let stand for 10 minutes to remove from plastic cup. A little warm water (not too hot) in the mould will help release it. Use pre chilled water from the fridge to speed up freezing time (may also improve quality). Use it outside. It will drip water. Hold it in a wetsuit material stubby/can holder (with a hole in the bottom to let the drips out) when drinking so it doesn't slip and/or prematurely melt in your hand.
