Icecube Mold - Requires Flexible Filament

Icecube Mold - Requires Flexible Filament

thingiverse

A parametric ice cube mold we made for one of our local Cocktail Bars. It only really works with Flexible Filament. Using PLA or ABS you will not be able to get the ice cubes out in one piece. Best to use bold style font from your local computer to get the ice cube to come out easier. The OpenSCAD file is full parametric and serves more as a start for your your own design rather than used as is. We used our ExcelFil TECH Flex for this print. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker Original Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 15% Notes: Printed slow at 20mm/s as the Bowden Extruder on the UM2 is a bit more fiddly. We also did a second print with a Prusa i3 at 50mm/s which worked just fine. Post-Printing Make Ice Cubes Best to used pre-boiled water to get nice clear results Custom Section
