I am proud to release the worlds second Meshmixer integrated tooth library.Following the incredible work from Christian Brenes and Nate Farley and their tooth and Pontic library I am extremely happy to give the world another set of teeth to use in Meshmixer! Christian and Nate as well August who introduced me to them as well as the other giants in digital dentistry have massively inspired me over several years. I love to create things that can help people to solve problems or create things for their patients.I decided to create this and the sets that will follow to give users the ability to use teeth which are more naturally shaped with more surface texture. They are designed from ultra high resolution scans that have been optimised and shaped to be completely individual. This has been a long time in development and I hope you enjoy all the features it has. This library has an Open Part Tooth Library and also a Pontic library. It is hopefully the first of many and I decided that my first one should be a Male (This is designated 01) as there is quite a shortage of male libraries.The next one will be female 01 and will be hopefully coming soon.Each of the Pontic and Open Tooth libraries have the following within;- A full set of upper and lower- A full upper arch- A full lower arch- The Anterior Six upper teeth- 7-7 upper and lower teeth all individualYou can drop any singular or group of teeth directly from the Meshmixer menu.To install these libraries please place the folders into the documents/meshmixer/libraries/parts/default folder after you have installed Meshmixer.Im also delighted to say that this will be a worlds first in that the library will soon be available to be used on Smile Designer Pro and in time other CAD software to keep your creations consistent.Best of all, this creation is given to the world completely and absolutely free!
