I really wanted to practice a variety of handpainted textures, so I decided to make some fan art of one of my favorite buildings in the mobile game Idle Empires. The game features wonderful pixel art by Thomas Feichtmeir, and I was inspired to try to fully render the textures in 3d space. Modeled in Modo, painted in 3dcoat and Photoshop Idle empires is a game created by Grumpy Rhino Games with artwork created by Thomas Feichtmeir.
