This isn't quite a remix, but an 'accessory' of sorts. I wanted something safer than a mains cable directly attached to the DIN rail blocks for the lab so I designed this 'insert' for the [DIN rail stand XL](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3724876). It's a plate that fits into one of the triangle braces and holds this IEC power module: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KS2TQ45/ I can now remove the mains cable from my lab; the fuse and on/off switch are just a bonus! There is a small flange that fits neatly against the 'inside' of the triangle brace. The flange helps with alignment when inserting the plate and makes it _much_ easier to glue in. After printing, apply a few drops of super glue to the surface of the flange/lip and carefully slide the plate into the triangle brace. Wait for the glue to set and then install the IEC module. You could use a bit more glue to install the IEC module but the design expects two M4*8mm screws. The screw holes in the plate are intentionally undersized slightly so the screw threads have plenty of plastic to 'bite' into. To make things _much_ easier use a match/lighter to heat up a screw before driving it in. The hot screw will push the molten plastic out of the way forming precise threads. maffucci didn't provide any source files so I had to import the STL file and go from there.. so the cad is messy :/. To save you the trouble, ive included a STEP file as well as the STL and 3mf files. The part has no significant physical load on it so 15% infill is more than enough. I instructed my slicer to add a few extra perimeters around the screw holes so the screws would have plenty of plastic to melt threads into using 'modifier stl' files. The attached `3mf` file already has this done for you.
