In an effort to increase the functionality of the IEXOS 100 mount. I utilized a pre-existing Azimuth adjuster I found on thingiverse.com and modified it to suit my needs. I then took an existing laser holder mount and modified it to suit my needs. I then set out to design a IEXOS top mount to hold the laser mount components in a secure and easily removable way, as well as other ways of mounting for future components. The result is the IEXOS 100 mount that I wished it was from the day it was unwrapped. Pointing the scope at the north star is easier and repeatable. And adjusting azimuth is a breeze. Watch the video for more details. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5jHxYUNjDE&feature=youtu.be Main components are as follows: 1) IexosAzimuthAdjuster&LaserMountSmallHolesBridge.stl - This is the modified Azimuth Adjuster with wings for mounting options, and a bridge to make much stronger. Print this part at or near 99% infill. 2) IexosAzimuthAdjuster&LaserMountExtentionSupport.stl - This is an extension bar that can be used in any orientation for use on the Top mount or azimuth adjuster. Print at high infill. contains easily removable supports. 3) IexosAzimuthAdjuster&LaserMountTopMountMK2Support.stl - This is my top mount for mounting the laser to polar axis hole on IEXOS mount. Print high infill for strength. Has pre-placed supports and is pre-positioned for easy printing. 4) LaserHolderStraightScrewMountHoleSupport.stl - This is the customized laser mount for use with my extension bar. Use M4 hex head set screws of about 25mm length. Then use the 'Screw Caps' listed below glued to the screw head with super glue. Tap the prexisiting holes with an M4 tap as shown in video. 5) IEXOSLaserGuidePlug.stl - Guide plug to help with laser alignment. 6) SCREW_CAP_M4_KNURLEDx7.stl - This is the screw cap for M4 hex head screws. 7) I also included 3 often used Synta mount parts you can print to add finderscopes, and lasers, etc to your setups/telescopes: SyntaMountElongatedScrewHole.stl SyntaLaserFinderscope_Mount@3.9%Best.stl Synta.dove_tail_to_red_dot.stl I print on fair quality PLA, typically at 220-230C/60C, on glass with a small amount of glue stick.
