These are extended foot pads for the Chimera 7. The idea was to increase ground clearance a little bit while keeping the quad looking asthetically pleasing and aerodynamically functional without adding too much weight. They definately help keep the quad cleaner and off the gound chopping grass or flinging up debris compared to the stock foot pads. The purpose of designing new foot pads was to achieve function and form - to give more ground clearance than stock, but without looking goofy like pegs sticking down. I tried incorporating a swooped aerodynamic type of air foil look into the design, without going too high and creating too much extra weight or drag. The arm protection was deleted that is normally found encasing the edge of the arms. This was done to minimize the drag passing by the ends of the arms from the props and flying though the air, as well as to save some weight. Of couse this reduces the protection to the ends of the carbon arms, but I use the Chimera 7 for cruising and long range cinematic so bando bashing arm tips isnt a factor. Weight: ~4 grams each Of course this will vary depending on your Slicer settings
