IFR Simulation Hood
thingiverse
Broke my Jeppesen folding IFR simulation foggles, so designed and printed my own hood, instead. Although designed to fit my head, you should be able to use the slicer's scaling to increase or decrease the size to fit your head. NEW VERS 2 - Update The original version had a view a little low to my liking which required me to tilt my head back, but had very good side blocking. So I created version 2, that has a cut-out in the front to allow good side blocking with a better view of the instrument panel. Also I printed this one in TPU and love the soft flexible hood that is now very comfortable. Also I was asked about the holes on the end. I looped a rubber band through one of the holes and used a small paperclip to hook the rubber band to the hole on the other side. I left the original version online so you can decide which works best for you.
