Ikea ADILS desk legs clamp system - Theta Mount

thingiverse

This is a small mount system I made for attaching different things to my desktop's IKEA ADILS legs. A typical setup consists of two clamps held together by two M4 flathead screws and hex nuts. I'd suggest using 20-30mm screws to hold it together. I used around 40% support in my design which made it nice and rigid. Since the radius of the clamp is a bit smaller because of the grooves it is able to grip the leg even harder when overtightening the screws. I've had good results with PLA's flexibility in such instances, but I haven't made any long term tests on this print. I recommend printing the hook to the side for stronger support. The mount I've made is pretty simple with tight tolerances and should easily slot inside the clamp's port. I'm calling it the **Theta Mount** and I'll be designing more accessories for it in the future. I've included a small file with just the mount for your customisation needs.
