IKEA Daidai Vaxer Lid

IKEA Daidai Vaxer Lid

I designed this simple lid to put on top of and Ikea Daidai 9cm pot and to put the vaxer plant pots inside. It works well but it needs a bit of refinement for the magnets placement. After a few months of testing it turns out you don't need the magnets, the lids are stable enough with the weight of the plants themselves. The only problem found so far is that when the plants get really large (like the cauliflower in the picture) then the pots themselves fall over inside the lid. I've added a cover to stop this. You can put the cover over the netpot on top of the lid and glue it down to stop this. I also added a version for the 12 and 22cm daidai pots. I have used them for a kratky system and it has been very successful. I'm currently growing more herbs then I can eat. Printing can be done with 0.3mm layer height. I used PLA first but I would advise to use PETG if possible because then you can put them in the dishwasher after using to clean them.
