to suit ikea fredde desk that has the 20mm thick lower backboard (new fredde style with oval tubing). my own quick design for getting the cables neatly organised that were drooped behind the ikea fredde desk, I was using adhesive cable management pads to the rear but they had failed and whole desk would need to come away to sort, so easier to make these brackets! I've made the rear to fill the space between the wall and the desk board, while allowing for a slightly uneven wall, this leaves about 20mm of cable space, the desk legs are fully up against my skirting boards so this space should be the same for most install and allow for the most unven of installs, print one first to check or take measurements as per my picture. first design is the wider of the two, this is overkill but does allow some heavy duty cables or even thin power bricks to also be put ion underside of bracket using the hex holes for cable tie or velcro loops if required. thin design will support cables just the same, although thin wires may still droop depending on space between and if you add cable ties to keep taught. i've gone with 3x big brackets, one centre, then 30cm apart each side, with 2 thin brackets to clean the ends. printed with CHEPS extra fast profile sliced in CURA, using pla, taking around 35mins and 25mins each to print with a brim- needed for me as my first one come away from bed. Attached using following screws from Screwfix UK: Silverscrew PZ Countersunk Multipurpose Screws 4 x 16mm 200 Pack (14158)
