IKEA HACKAS handle jig
thingiverse
This is a custom jig I built to drill holes straight into IKEA doors with ease.\r\n\r\nIt's designed specifically for HACKAS handles (though it may work with other types) and measures 48.5mm in height, perfectly fitting within the middle of IKEA's smallest drawer panel at 97mm high. The distance between holes is precisely calculated at 64 and 256mm, with an additional hole in the center.\r\n\r\nThe two-piece design clicks together seamlessly via a dovetail mechanism, forming one solid unit that can be rested and clamped onto the door panel. The top part features a central slot for marking the middle of the panel with a pen, providing clear visibility through the jig.\r\n\r\nI aimed to minimize print time by designing it to be printed in one go without complications. As a result, the large piece has a cutout that allows the smaller top part to fit snugly inside, as seen in the final image.
