Ikea Jansjo Red Light Filter Holder

This is a filter holder for the Ikea Jansjo lamp. This was designed to adapt the Ikea Jansjo lamp to double as a red light at night to preserve my night vision for astronomy. The filter holder is made in two pieces. The inner part is snug to the lamp. The outer part holds the filter in place and is snug to the inner part. The filter holder works using press fits so it may take some sanding to get the diameters just right. But because of the press fit there is no white light leaks of any kind. FYI, the filter I use is LEE FILTERS 027 MEDIUM RED Print Settings Printer: Monoprice IIIP Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15 Infill: 20% Notes: I print this in PLA and the press fit is just right after a quick sanding to remove any high spots. I've tried printing this in ABS and it was too tight. After warming up the print using a heat gun, it pressed on and conformed to the lamp. I recommend printing it in PLA.
