Ikea Lack 3D Printer Enclosure

Ikea Lack 3D Printer Enclosure

Minimalistic enclosure using 50cm x 50cm x 2mm hobby glass (polystyrene) panes. Side and back pane just slide in. Front pane slides in at the bottom and snaps in place at the top. Taping the edges of the panes with electrical pvc tape reduces rattling and stiffens em up a bit. Filament is fed from the bottom. The holder is just a pvc pipe for now; plans for putting the pvc pipe on a 8mm axle with bearrings. Works great as is. The roll in the pic is a 40cm 2kg roll ... 5cm to stpare on top and bottom ... perfect. 12cm table feet spacers: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2127786 Filament guide: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3129612 Glass panes:https://www.hornbach.nl/shop/GUTTAGLIss-Hobbyglas-glad-helder-500x500-ca-2mm/1477801/artikel.html?varCat=S9621##v1477798 Magnet snepper (not the exact used):https://www.sloterop.nl/hang-en-sluitwerk/meubelbeslag/magneetsnappers/magneetsnappers-kunststof-4-8kg/dx-magneetsnapper-mc-8-4kg-47x16mm-opschroevend-kunststof-metaal-wit-mc-8102b.html
