Concept here is in the title: I *LOVE* the design from the most popular ikea lack concept... which incidentally also increases the height available to put the printer into. I just cannot bear to go through a 5+ hours print, and 40grams of PLA... for EACH support. Given that amount of resources, I would prefer to just saw a piece of wood to measure, or buy 90° metal brackets from the local hardware store and fashion a combo of them to raise the level... So, enter my design. Ikea Lack gives 40cm of clearance in height, which is just enough for my geeetech i3 after I remove the top display (which I would have to remove ayway, since operating the printer on it when a lack is on top of it is pretty much impossible). I will just relocate the display outside of the enclosure, as the cables are long enough.
