Ikea Lack table leg brace

Ikea Lack table leg brace

thingiverse

I made this by chopping up the Ikea Lack table leg bracket by Pr0teinaddict but for some reason thingiverse this is a remix search wouldn't work for me so I was unable to credit him properly, if you would like to check out his design you can do so here... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2119747 I find that the ikea lack tables are nice, cheap and elegant looking but unfortunately they're constructed by screwing the leg directly into the table top. Over time the legs tend to become loose and will rotate out of place constantly. It doesn't cause too much harm but it looks bad. To fix this I looked to see if a brace existed on Thingiverse already. ProteinAddicts design is sturdy but is too big for my taste, I wanted something more subtle especially considering I only have white PLA at the moment and my table's black. So I made a brace that hides quite nicely and only needs to screw into one plane rather than both the leg and the table top. I hope you find it useful. Normal settings, no support, 20% infill will do fine.
