My IKEA Markus home office chair started sinking. After a few years the chairs receipt was nowhere to be found so a warranty claim was no longer an option and buying a new chair is not cheap. So this gas spring cylinder shaft sleeve was designed and printed instead. It is 10 cm long (3.94") and sets the chair in a fixed position almost as high as it can go. The armrests just fit under my 75 cm high (29.53") desk After printing this sleeve, you can wrap it around the shaft/cylinder and use tie-wraps on one side to ensure the sleeve does not come loose. If your desk is less high; added 80mm and 90mm sleeves.
