IKEA METOD Kicker Board/Plinth corner or end bracket

This is a dual purpose bracket that serves to join an IKEA kicker-board plinth (under a cupboard unit) at 90° on a corner by engaging on the extruded slots of each plinth, or, as an end fixing attached to the wall, supporting the end of the kicker. Mount the bracket to the wall where required and then slot the kicker onto the tongues of the bracket using the default slot on the rear of the kicker extrusion. The Ikea cabinets have the feet and kicker mounted some distance back from the front of the cabinets. This creates quite a nook for junk to collect under the cabinet and it is difficult to sweep on the METOD range as these stand only 80mm over the floor. This dual purpose bracket allows the end of the kicker to be anchored to a wall wherever you would like it placed under the cabinet. It also has tongues that will slot in to the back of the kicker to form a 90° corner which is easy to dress with the supplied end-cap. One of the adjoining extruded kickers needs the very end of the rear slot relieved (about 3mm) with a utility knife to but the parts neatly together.
