I don't like drilling gigantic holes on desk surfaces in order to flush mount a USB charger, and I don't like a loose hockey-pucked shaped item bouncing around a desk and cluttering things up with a cord that gets in the way of things. So I created this bracket to firmly attach this awkward, circular Ikea charger to the side of my desk. It's super sturdy, so you can plug and unplug USB items without it moving around and such. All you need to do is remove the Ikea nordmarke from it's wooden holder. Pretty easy, it just pops out. Then install the nordmarke in the bracket. Be sure to unplug the cable from the 24v wall wart so you can properly route everything through the hole. You don't need to attach it vertically as I have done here. Any orientation is possible. It's a corner bracket, so...any corner will do. I designed this around wood screws with a 4mm diameter thread. Really not much to it. Two wood screws and you're done. The cord conveniently tucks in a channel on one of the sides, so you can route it out flush with the structural member on the furniture. Lastly, goes without saying this is for the wired charger, not the wireless. I mean, the wireless will work fine, but don't mount this vertically unless you've conquered the laws of gravity. ;-)
