Hallo folks! This thing helps to use short pencils (max. up to 8mm wide): you win additional grip to hold and use a very short one. IKEA designs the free pencils you get in store so short, that you can sharp it just a couple more times, then you will loose your grip. This thing allows the pencil to be just about 3-4cm short, the grip itself is 4cm long. It also allows you to combine two shorter pencils, for example HB and 2H... Another good thing is that you can put the sharpened pencil with his mine inside the tube, and keep it sharp durig transport.The tube is ergonometric, with a triangle grip. I hope this thing helps you to use ur favored pencils a little longer!
