IKEA Samla Clip - even better than "the best"?

Needless to say that while this part is made to be used with the IKEA Samla boxes, it is not an IKEA product and is not associated with the IKEA brand or the IKEA Samla product. There are a number of different clips out there for the popular IKEA Samla boxes. One of them is really great fitting and is called "Ikea Samla Clip - The best one". I have used it gladly for a while for my Filament storage boxes, together with some drying pallets. But at very close inspection, I found that it does hold the lid securely in place, but it does not press it onto the box. In order to get the boxes as air tight as possible without a gasket, there needs to be some force that presses lid and box together. And at even closer inspection, I found that the IKEA lids do overlap the boxes by around 1mm, which gives them the chance to lift up by 1mm when clipped on, unless the clip has a separate groove each for the lid and the box frame. This is where this design comes into the game, which is made completely from scratch, but used "the best" as a benchmark for a really good fit. After a significant number of test prints, I claim that my clips fits as well as "the best", but in addition does not only grab onto the lid, but also pulls lid and box together. For our valuable Filament in the boxes, that means even better protection from dust and most and for all from humidity in the ambient air. And there is one more benefit, if you have bigger fingers, you will find it easer to release this clip, as it has the gripper positioned slightly further way from the lid. This part needs to be printed on its side, which typically works without a brim, but sometimes the print fails because the parts comes loose from the print bed. This is much more likely, and much more annoying, if there are multiple parts on the print bed. Using a brim is an option, but removing it is a pain, especially at the inside of the clip, where dimensions are critical. To guarantee your satisfaction with your prints, I have created a specific version of this part that has a specific brim included. This customized brim is very easy and very clean to remove with side cutters, and is only connected to 6 tiny outside spots off the part.
