So I noticed it was hard to get replacement Ikea legs with the current supply chain, so I decided to model them and print up a few. They turned out great. The bolt they use is an M8 1.25 and it is 44mm long so if you go to your big box store you'll find an M8 1.25 x 45. I modeled three different options, here they are: 1. Use a 44mm threaded rod and get a wood insert 2. Use an M8 1.25 nut and a threaded rod 3. Use a full M8 1.25 x 45mm bolt and then fill the gaps with epoxy I chose options 2 and 3 and they seem to work great. I think option 3 will be the strongest.
